Un nouveau livre de Vincent Botta

Un nouvel ouvrage illustré de photos inédites de Vincent Botta : "Jardins en Pays de Liège, 15 ans de passion partagée" La parole y est donnée à ces jardiniers liégeois qui partagent avec nous leurs coups de coeurs, joies, peines et réussites, ainsi que leur savoir-faire. Jardins en Pays de Liège est sous l'égide de l'asbl Enfants d'un même Père. Par l'achat de ce livre, vous contribuez à aider cette asbl. Conçu à quatre mains autour de la maison d'habitation à partir de 2003, ce "Jardin de vie" vaut plus par les sensations de bien-être qu'il dégage que par la profusion de plantes qui le garnissent. Au fil des saisons, l’attraction s'exercera dans des espaces différents accentuant, soit la floraison ou le feuillage, soit le jeu de l'ombre et de la lumière. Aux détours d'un cheminement constitué notamment de haies taillées apportant le côté douceur par la courbe et le côté gaieté par la ligne oblique, le visiteur découvrira nombre de chambres garnies de rosiers, vivaces, arbustes et autres graminées.

Deux pièces d'eau assurent la fraîcheur et la présence d'une faune variée aux alentours. L'intérêt porté sur les plantes mellifères ainsi que l'absence totale de "chimie" rend donc ce jardin bien vivant, d’où son nom.
Cette année, les propriétaires ont choisi de vous faire découvrir la période de la "renaissance"en attirant votre attention sur l'éclosion du "vert", la tendresse et la beauté qui s'en dégagent. 

Vous découvrirez aussi les premières floraisons printanières.

Autoroute E25, Liège-Luxembourg, sortie 45. Suivre N678, puis N62 vers Spa. Après ~5km à  droite N606, vers parc animalier Forestia. Rouler ~2,5km, à gauche vers Jevoumont. Si vous venez de Theux, direction Jevoumont puis 2 km sur la même route.
