This small, 1200 sq m garden is a companion to a contemporary plastered, slate-roofed house with a marked individual character, built in 1980.The front of the house is decorated with different pieces of work and articulations made of Belgian schist stones , which, associated with a selection of perennials and shrubs, form a harmonious and colourful whole enhancing the beauty of the entrance door. The main garden is built along a wide grass plot accompanied by mixed borders and decorative flower beds consisting of vintage and modern roses. Combinations of herbaceous and arborescent peonies, hellebores and hydrangeas constituting an authentic walk complete the vegetal menu. In permanent evolution, the garden undergoes improvements designed by informed garden fans taking counsel from Serge Delsemme, a well-knowb landscape gardening specialist.
Starting from Chênée, take the RN 30, going to Bastogne-Spa. After passing the Embourg church, turn right into Ambiorix lane and drive for about 300 m. Reaching the end of this lane, take, on your left, Avenue du Parc until you reach house number 92. Beware : this avenue suddenly takes a bend towards the right : don’t miss it !
